Fine tremors?

I did not have this problem a few years ago. I think I am to young to have tremors yet, but since I have gotten back into my creatve mode I can't do fine details like I used to because of my hands! I have fine tremors or shakes and it's really upsetting me. I used to be able to draw a straight line or paint without problems now I shake. Does fibro cause this? I just don't have the control in my hands like I used too. :(

I started getting a fine tremor after an antidepressant I had taken. Cant remember which one it was, because there were several. It always gets worse when my blood sugar has dropped, or my anxiety is high, or Im angry. I wish I had never taken that medication, because I cant draw as fine either any more, and I have pretty much given it up.

Sorry Jaden, I know I do not want to give it up. I have alot of talent and don't want to lose it, so it upsets me that my fine motor skills are not as good. Maybe I should take a xanax before my next project...lol

lol It could help! I have been drawing for several years, but I have lost my muse. Its very upsetting. I should try to get back into it, but I fear Ive lost the ability

Well I think if you really enjoy it, do it lol. When I am working on my art stuff it kind of takes my mind off of my fibro. I don't know if I can post links, but here are my latest cakes. It's nice to work on them and work at my own pace. I can't knead fondant to long or I will get sick. I tend to get the sick malaise feeling if I overwork my muscles. They hate to be aggrivated.

I went through a spell having tremors. I was trying to blame it on my metal neck. My Dr's think it's not my neck, so I just blame it on fibro. My tremors are less, but my arms are very weak. If I over use my arms, I get spasms or they feel wasted. So frustrating at times.

klambert1, could it be from a medication you're taking? If you're suspecting one you could google and see if that's a side effect of the medication.

Medfree, I am only taking ibuprofen, tylenol and occasionally flexeril, and when I remember my vit b12 and vit D lol. The tremors are not bad, but my hands do bother me, it's probably muscle stiffness also.

I have tremors in my hands too. I am always goignn back when typing b/c I hit the keys more than once. I feel a vibration in my body too. It is especially annoying when like you I am trying to do something fine in my craft. Then I have to put it away until it gets better.

I also have the small tremor in my hands. I've noticed that it's when I'm over working my hands or if I'm really anxious. I've had it for a year before I was diagnosed with Fibro, so I'm not sure if it is from my anxiety or Fibro. It's gotten worse as my symptoms have gotten worse so who knows. I agree with everyone that it is very annoying. I've been playing piano for 12 years. I used to be able to play for hours, now I can hardly play for 30 minutes before my hands shake and tingle to the point that I hit wrong keys and give up. You're not alone in your frustration.
