What might trigger a Migraine Change?

For those of us "lucky" enough to suffer from both migraines and fibro, I have a question. Did your migraines change in any way after your diagnosis or did you discover that any of your medications or supplements made your migraines worse? Last night I was awoken at 2 am with the worst migraine pain I've had in years. I think it is possible that it was triggered by my poor diet of late, but I wondered if anyone had any insight to anything else that might make the pain worse. I also wondered if it was a rebound headache since I'm taking pain relievers 24/7.

Right now I'm taking:

Savella
METOPROLOL ER SUCCINATE (for high blood pressure)
Advil 600mg every 6 hours
Vicodin 1/2 of a 5mg every 6 hours
Malic Acid
fish oil
CoQ10
Aciphex
Zyrtec
Calcium
Vit D
Elavil for sleep (but not in the last week or so)
Flexeril for sleep (also not in the last week or so)
Melatonin
Seems like there is something else I'm not remembering.

My migraine headaches started several years before my fibro symptoms. My mother realized I could not be taking Tylenol and Ibuprofen non-stop at such a young age, and got me a bottle of Passion Flower tablets. It seemed to help calm me enough--my headaches always put me in such pain that I would cry non-stop--to be able to go to sleep and sleep off the headache.

I dont know about maybe an interaction of your medications; that might be a possibility. As Acheybody said, though, if you were on Flexeril and Elavil for a long period of time, the sudden cessation may be the problem. Did your doctor tell you to stop these medications?
