Greetings from a new member

I am new to the board & would like to say hello.  I have been lerking(lol) all evening and hope I will be able to contribute:)

In 1998 I was involved in an auto accident in which my daughter & I were T-boned by a 3/4 ton pickup.  She is doing great, thank God, but it began a long road of continual health problems for me.  I have been treated by numerous doctors & had many different treatments & about 6-7 years ago I was diagnosed with FM.

I have started seeing a councilor to help me come to terms with my health & not being able to work for the past 2 1/2 years.  She suggested I find an on-line forum so I can find people that may actually relate to what I have been going through for so long...this is my homework for my next appt. lol

Anyway...I'm glad to have found this forum:)

I'm sorry that you are having all these problems but we might be able to help you.  You can live and full and enjoyable life in spite of fibro.  I know because I have. 

Be sure to read Fibro 101...the second thread on the forum.  There are links to good info about fibro and you will learn a lot there.  Good starting links are called Symptoms, What Else Could It Be, and A Thorough Explanation of Fibromyalgia.  You just might see yourself there.
