Ty for letting me vent..

But my back is just KILLING me. I just hope I am able to walk by Wednesday when I gotta hop a medical transport for a 100 mile run to the oncologist. Yes I am a heap of medical problems. The doctors actually call me the walking medical mystery.

Tried a hot bath, tried a T4, tried a Oxycodone and a Morphine... Don't worry, I did it very safe and made sure there was 4 to 6 hours  (compliments of my cell phone alarm) apart.  I'm thinking if it dont help in 1 hour (will be 5) I will try the dang flexiral. Not only am I a mystery, I'm also a pharmacy LOL

I am super determined to get to my oncologist on Wednesday cuase I am no longer in remission

The bright side is, my cat still thinks I'm everything LOL

Smurfy, I'm so sorry you are going through all of this.  Do you have a Bed Buddy?  You can get these at Walgreen's and other places.  You pop it in the microwave and it gives off moist heat.  They have one that is like a shawl and that might really help your back to feel better.

Smurfy, have you seen a good chiropractor?

I haven't been to a chiropractor since the fall and I have returned to seeing one. It helps me a great deal. But make sure the chiropractor is knowledgeable for fibro and that he takes x-rays beforehand if you have none to share.

I'm sorry you're no longer in remission.

The bed buddy idea does sound good. The one that's like a shawl especially - I might have to get one of those myself.

Would you mind explaining where the "grumbling ducks" come in?? :) You've got my curiosity up.

smurfy- I hope you have a better day tomorow. Pain can push so many buttons. I know when I get in severe pain I try to use other outlets to try to relieve my pain. Music is a great reliever for me and venting for some reason helps. LOL

I've never heard of a bed buddy, but I'm sooo going to Walgreens now.

Chiropractor, I haven't been since the car accident 3 years ago. My insurance doesnt cover chiro or massage or accupuncture. I have been thinking of paying out of the pocket for one though. In the summer I moved though, and I don't know of anybody in my town, but I'm sure there is one, all I have to do is whip out the phone book.
