Hi Everyone,
Along with my Fibro, and foot pain and numbness which I am still going to physical therapy for, I have a 35 year history of chronic sinus infections. My ENT dr read my cat scan today and told me I am a perfect candidate for the balloon procedure to open up the sinuses so they will drain. I was supposed to have the traditional sinus surgery years ago but cancelled. This procedure is fairly new and done in the office. The area is numbed up and a balloon is inserted. I have decided to give it a try because my 40 years of migraines went away with menopause but those darn sinus headaches where I can't breathe or drain are killers. I throw up more with them than the hormonal migraines I had. I told him I suffer from anxiety and fear and he said just double up on your xanax the morning of the procedure and have someone drive you so that's the plan. Anyone else had this procedure done?
