Shoulder blade "rubbing together"

I am not sure how to describe this but my shoulder blade has been making a clicking sound, sometimes with extreme pain sometimes with none. Its bothering me more than usual today but because it doesn't happen everyday I am debating whether I should add this to my "suck it up, its fibro folder" or whether its worth mentioning to the doctor if it could be something more serious. Does this happen to anyone else?

It feels like its coming from my right shoulder blade close to the back bone.
