The "fog" made my legs hairy

I couldn't believe how fast the hair on my legs was growing...I just attributed it to the warmer weather here rolleyes . It turned out that I had been shaving my legs with the razor cap still on. turn   I told my hubby that and he said...."Why do you tell me those things?"

Donna, I read your dishwasher story and that sounds like us fibromites, but I think a lot of "normals" probably did that. yeah Manufacturers need to put some things in bold print.

Tee, hee. I used it upside down once. The razor that is. Didn't work so well.

Oh Robin...how this brings tears to my eyes!  Last week, I was shaving the back of the hubby's neck after a hair cut and he kept yelping and screaming 'Ouch'.   I wondered why I had to keep pushing harder and harder with the stupid razor as no hair was coming off.   The cap was on the razor!  Clear plastic of course so I really didn't notice.

His poor neck looked like raw meat when I was done. smhair

Robin, my hubby would have said the same thing!

I'd have told him too, because number one, it's funny, and two, it's what's going on with you....what's wrong with men sometimes??  Sometimes it really does seem like they came from another planet. 

How was your trip to Wisco?

Debbie, the trip was fun...visited with lots of family. Went to visit MIL, she has Alzheimer's and is in a memory care unit at a nursing facility. The staff is great and really attentive....plenty of staff to oversee the patient's needs.

We spent lots of time with MIL...and seeing all the patients there, I'm thankful that I've got fog and not Alzheimer's.

Hope your back is mending...it is a long process.

Yeah, anybody want to make a zillion $$$$$, convince the razor cap makers to put colored plastic caps on them. Would also help people who wear glasses. Who wears glasses in the shower?

Thanks, yes it is, but slowly indeed...I've never taken so long to recuperate after a surgery! Of course I'm older, but I guess also just the nature of spine surgery. PT is going well.

who's got hair on their legs??? I haven't since menopause...seriously, went through it at age 56 and suddenly none in the armpits or my legs...weird... nono

LOL I know, Miriam - I don't have much on my legs anymore, either! And I haven't shaved my armpits since menopause (4 years ago).....my daughters would grimace here and say, "Mom! Too much information!"  shakehead

But I kinda think these things should be known ahead of time, so as not to cause too much of a shock when they happen.  I guess the jury's still out on that one.

Diane, thanks for asking! I had a discectomy - the dr trimmed a hernitated disc that was putting pressure on my Sciatic Nerve. I'm doing MUCH better, have started physical therapy, but still have a long way to go. I still can't shave my own legs (come to think of it!) or cut my own toenails...and it's been almost 9 weeks.
