Where is summer?

Ok, I know most of you lower 48 fibromites are tired of the heat. Most Alaskans are going to the lower 48 for some summer. Years ago, you would stay home in the summer months because we waited for the 19 hrs. of light. But now were just desperate for sun and heat. Just because we have long daylight, it doesn't mean sunny days. We haven't seen the sun in 2 wks. I am going to Florida next summer even if I have to charge it! My dream vacation right now is Floridas beaches and getting on the interstate with the windows down and seeing the Green exit sign to Six Flags. Lol oh yeah to hear a thunderstorm would be great also. Our lovely Forecast is in the 50's. What a lovely summer! Not!

I have your summer, going to be 106 here in St Louis today. Well, I spent most my life in Florida. First off, there is no Six Flags there, thinking you mean Disney or Universal? We took an Alaskan cruise one year to escape summer, we went in June. When I lived in FL, we used to watch the Canadians come for spring break and were so sunburnt they didn't have fun at all after the first day. I will trade you my 106 for your 50's for a few days. You walk outside and it's like a hair blowdryer. I've been making my son stay home. This is day 10 I believe of over 100 degrees

Well, it just summer as usual here in Tampa Bay area. Highs around 90, humidity is sauna like. Maybe a shower. It will be like this till Thanksgiving, may be Christmas . I'll keep it! I don't do snow.
