A doctor has suggested that I might have Fibromyalgia, not really done anything to look into it though as usual, but suggested it non the less.
Fibrofog sounds like something I get on a daily basis. For example today I was preparing cereal for myself, I walked up stairs with it and had a mouthful, only to realise I had put salt on my cereal instead of sugar. It isn't what I would call an easy mistake to make, completely different containers. One requires the use of a spoon (the sugar) etc.
I mean I'm getting close to diagnosing myself here, doctors don't seem to like the fact that I visit forums like this.. I think they think I see a disease and think I have it, forget the name (fibrofog again? Know it begins with H). Can assure you I don't, I know I dont have the majority of conditions that is listed on this forum so why would they dislike this. Getting nothing but bad feedback from the NHS.
But yeah - does this sound like Fibrofog to you? It also effects things that I say, and do all the time. I will be half way through a sentence and forget what I was saying, or walk downstairs to get something and forget why I went down - or sometimes go down and as if i am day dreaming ill go down and do something completely different to what I went down there for, come back up stairs and when I need say the pen that i went down for again I will realize what I did.
Hmmmm. Either way if I DON'T have fibro I am still planning on doing some sort of charity event for you guys, I get pain non stop and its basically full body. So having a rough idea of what you are going through makes me crave raising some money for research. Thoughts are with everyone who has fibro.
