OT Had PET scan yesterday

Hello my fibro family...yesterday I had the PET scan...now for the wait. I have an appointment with my pulmonologist next Monday for the results...he is out of the clinic until then. I was lucky enough to get in early for the scan and am thankful for that.

The scan is pretty accurate at showing whether the nodule they found in my lung is cancer and if it was metastasized from another area.

The definitive diagnosis will probably be a biopsy...either way I've come to terms with the possibilities. If it is cancer...I will get through it. yeah

Hubby cracks me up...he said if it is cancer and I lose my hair, I can get as many wigs as I want...one in every color. turn ...his attempt at making me laugh...and I did!

Luckily, I'm not flaring...I continue to do my relaxation therapy, gentle stretching and walking when I can.

I'm sorry you are having to go through all of this, Robin, but your attitude is amazing!  This will help you get through anything you might face.  I'll keep praying for a really pretty PET scan!  smilewinkgrin

Oh Robin,

I wish you could just have a week of 'playing' in your garden, having your friends over for your fun parties and just not have this worry hanging over you.

You know that if I could, I would 'wish' this stuff away for you. What I can do is continue to keep you in my prayers - and I will!

Hi Robin,

And many well wishes to you. I hope that your pet scan comes back negative to cancer. But if it isn't, you will get through this. You have such a positive attitude and that is a huge percentage of recovery. Know that we are all thinking of you and praying for you!!!

Those prayers must be working...I feel a great sense of peace!
I don't feel stressed out...I put everything in God's hands and letting him take care of it. :)

Robin, I truly hope your Pet/CT comes back negative.  Mine did not, if necessary, we will get through this together.

Robin, I pray your scan is negative. It's make a difference with your additude when have a spiritual guidance. I don't know how I would get through the day with out my God. May He hold you tight.

Robin,

I hope that your scan comes out showing no cancer. You have a great attitude about it, which I think is very important. Loving what your hubby said about getting wigs in every color!!!! Please keep us updated. Praying for you.
