I tried going gluten-free and all it did was take my constipation into overdrive. :( And I'd had such hopes!
It's been years since I've eaten much meat or fish - never craved them much, and never felt good about it. I don't overindulge in anything, because it always makes my stomach hurt. So keeping up my weight is now a chronic problem, something I never would have anticipated. I seem to be ok with cheese in moderation, but oddly enough, yogurt gives me a definite sick feeling - ? Nothing carbonated, causes bloating.
I could write a novelette here, but it probably belongs on the IBS forum. Getting back to your question, nothing I did or didn't eat ever changed anything other than how my stomach felt.
