Living with fibro is a challenge, but dealing with it in a positive way gives me control. I am no longer a victim.
Taking time to exercise does pay off...walking gives me more energy, it gets me outdoors and the fresh air, nature and sunshine make me smile. :)
Doing my deep breathing and meditation has helped ease my pain. Relaxation therapy has become a part of my life...a ritual I'd be lost without.
I have learned when I'm busy doing things I enjoy, it is hard to dwell on pain.
I also learned to let others do for me or help out when needed.
Pacing myself is something, I still struggle with but am better than I used to be.
Taking one day at a time, I've learned life is still great...even with pain. I know I have to continually pysche myself up...but if that's what it takes, it is worth it! Positive thinking works!
What have you learned from living with fibro?
Hugs, Robin
