Just wondering if anyone has gone for chiropratic treatment and found it helpful for any symptoms, or just in general.
Thanks,
Susan

Hi Susan,
I've been seeing a chiropractor for years and they have been very beneficial for me but I have a back and neck injury and not just fibro.
If you do decide to give a chiropractor a try I would suggest that you call the office of a chiropractor who comes recommended by a friend or family member and if that isn't possible, call a chiropractor's office and ask to speak with the chiropractor to see what he or she could do for you and if they are knowledgeable about
fibromyalgia.
Some in here have had bad experiences with chiropractors. The first one I went to many years ago was like that for me. He made me feel worse than when I first arrived for my treatment and he wanted me to keep coming back... I gave him a few tries and immediately stopped.
Good luck to you.

Because of my spine/disc issues...my Neurosurgeon said that I was very lucky that I never did Chiro treatments as it could have paralyzed me.
I think if people are having any pain or numbness to first make sure from a Board Certified Neuro or BC Ortho going over your MRI that they are considered "safe" enough to have those treatments then it's your choice.
I don't happen to think highly of that type of treatment myself, regardless of my spine issues, but I know some people have been helped.
