Neurosurgeon?

Hi Everyone,

I have a question concerning whether I should consider seeing a neurosurgeon about my overall pain and overall body numbness.

Has anyone had neurosurgery for their back?

I had a MRI done on my back about 3 years ago. I've contacted my rheumatologist about getting those results to my neuromuscular massage therapist who is recommending I look into this.

I believe the stenosis has become worse. I'm being told that the numb condition could lead to paralysis.

I'm seeing my chiropractor this morning to get his opinion.

Thanks for your reply. I spoke with my chiropractor this morning and he said something that made perfect sense. That a neurosurgeon during surgery on a disk for me probably wouldn't help my overall numbness. I probably have a lot of nerves that are affected.

I'm going to be seeing my rheumatologist in a few weeks. I'll have to discuss all this with her and see what she says.
