Due to my health issues, I feel left out for saving money. I could not participate in the sales on and after Thanksgiving. I and hubby too, could not stand out in the cold, in long lines or even hurry to get to the different depts. We want a new larger tv. Looking for a 50 inch due to my eyesight giving me problems and the fact that the tv we have now is in my office, and we only have a recliner and desk chair in there, so no snuggling on the couch to watch tv.
Found on target website a great price on Sat afternoon and it said still has some at the local store. we there and they had sold out at 4 30 am friday morning. Should have updated site. Talked to the service desk as per cashier suggestion. rude lady (gave her some leeway as they had been busy) said the other store in town was showing they had 2 but she really doubted it as they went so fast. I told her, that some people could not be in those crowds due to health reasons, she just said ok and turned to the next person in line.
The tv was not available online, i checked several stores. I am waiting on cyber monday. There is one at best buy right now, but i can not order it until i discuss with dh (always discuss big purchases) and he is helping dd with a plumbing problem today.
So back to my question. do you ever feel left out of things? Did any of you make to the big shopping events and if so did the fibro tell you about it later?
BTW my bil and his inlaws went shopping looking for the atari game console on sale at dollar general. went to 3 of them and were told a man had came in and bought all they had at each of them. bil did make it to the 3 rd one and grabbed 2 off the shelf as the man got the others. bil kept hold of both until he saw the man leave then put one back on shelf.
