Have you ever tried preparing Thanksgiving for 40 people solo?
It wasn't fun, and that is why I did a head start on what I could. I also cheated a little, instead of all pies being all from scratch, I used already made crust on them. Add a couple of special needs kids who just insist on helping, which resorts to losing two pies (they put the filling in before the crust got baked) and having to redo all their efforts when they are fast asleep. Add a night out with friends, two doctor appointments, kids doctor appointments, homework, work, and prepare the house. I keep it clean, I just insist on doing a makeover of what kids do. Like the toys under the bed go in the trash (a seperate can that gets "magically taken away in the night when they are asleep") I'm telling you, having toys in a trash freaks the kids out and gets them to listen. If they don't listen 3 toys get taken away. If there is a fit, back talk they lose 5. What they don't know is the locked closet actually has them and a few years later they get reintroduced.
Sorry I have been swamped things are slower now. By the way, I have to see a orthopedist because of the falls. I may have done myself in good with that right arm. Its slower to type when you got a brace on and arm in sling too
