Should I go to the ER? I'm getting a migraine with aura!!!

I don't know what to do.... last time was awful and the pressure on my eyes was intense..

is there a med they could give me that would help?

could there be adverse affects to my FM if I take a med?

I'M TERRIFIED!!!!!!!!!!!!

My mom has auras with her migraines....
If I was you I'd go get something to ease the migraine. It won't hurt you to get it treated.
Maybe you can get someone to drive you while you cover your eyes to help the pain?
They'll give you a shot or pill to relax it.

I'm shared about my eyes...

The last time my mygrain my eyes were weird and different...

its like the pressure on my eyes affected my eyes... causing permanent change in my eyes...

i'm scared about what to do... if I didn't have fm it would be different but Its like these things affect me worse than ever.. it will be 4 days worth of throwing up.

Charmcity- I knew when I needed to gp to ER with a severe HA. I had a HA with lots of pressure and after no relief from excederin I went. I am so glad I did. I had a grandmal seizure in front of the Dr. It was horrible. I woke up with 4 guards and nurses holding me down. I was so confused. Hopefully yours is not that bad. I think your body knows when it's time.

Ak angel do u get auras first?

Ive had migraines for over ten years. Had a lapse with NO aura migraines for a good 7 years then they start up again this year..

The issue is that my FM makes them last longer. 36 hours to alleviate now instead of 8 hours. And the pressure on my eyes affects my vision it seems. This is my main concern. Because it seems to be permanently affecting my vision. I know I need to see a doctor. Too bad Im poor.

I decided not to go and go to bed instead. Im decent but laying down with my phone here. Wondering what meds might help relieve pressure on my eyes..

I really don't know what a aura feels like. All I know I had pressure and couldn't stand any light. Any kind of sound hurt. I just wanted relief. After I came to from the seizure they took me to MRI. My brain showed some swelling. I was out of it for 5 days. The meds made me very sleepy and the seizure. They say it was caused by my wellbutrin med. That was my 3 rd seizure and the biggest one. Fibro patients are prone to seizure I read.

I get auras with my migraines. I wouldn't go to the er unless it's extremely painful, you have numbness tingling in your extremities, or notice trouble with your speech. I'd suggest something like an Urgent care or call your primary dr.
In the future I would mention this to your dr as there are several treatments for migraines. I actually take an anti seizure medication. Your dr can prescribe something that will work for you. Hope the migraine is gone by now. I know your pain.

Thanks ak angel.. im glad u made it through..

Angelic Victory.. yeah.. i know when the migraine is a normal one ill prob be okay since it generally repeats a similar pattern anything out of the norm would send me to the er. Its always intensely painful though.. my main concern are my vision issues that remain after the headache. My eyes have been abnormal since FM.
