Knocking on wood

Do you ever wonder why the body sometimes allows you to get away flare free after days of overdoing? I rarely get away with it but once in a great while it happens. I'm lucky that while I was in Wisconsin I was able to go, go and go. Luckily, the cold didn't even produce a flare this time.

Robin...Just out of curiosity...was this a "fun" trip to visit family/friends and did you have a great time?

The reason I ask is that I have found that when I am doing things that fill my heart up with love and joy....from spending time with friends or family, or doing my volunteer work, it seems that I may be a bit sore, but I don't go into a big flare. It's like the rush of endorphins win the battle:)

And for me, I actually do much worse in the thick of the hot and humid summers as they make my fatigue so much worse. But with the cooler weather, I just stick on a ThermaCare patch and off I go!

I'm so glad to hear that you aren't paying the price for the trip!

Like Debbie. I haven't found any rhyme or reason for it. My trip was really fun...in the past I've had many enjoyable times and ended up with a horrible flare.

Tonight I'm going to hubby's work holiday party and I'm hoping that tomorrow I'm not paying for it. Right now I'm feeling fine :)

I have been going strong since 6 am this morning, about 6 hours of picking up, little shopping, making a wreath/swag, decorating the house, laundry....but nothing heavy or really out of line. Was feeling great and then about 20 minutes ago, WHAM! I suddenly felt like I had been hit by a Mack truck. Pain from the neck/back and exhaustion just clicked on like a light switch. I almost hate the good days because it reminds me of what used to be. Does anyone else feel like this at times?
