My sister who was born with brain damage is on disability. She gets a call every so often where they do an interview over the phone. Mom pretty much tells them that things are the same. Once you get it, it is much easier to keep it. Once she got a letter saying they were cutting her off, when mom told the lady that they needed time to get an appt with her lawyer to help, my sister got a letter about
10 days later, saying she was reapproved.
I have also seen them try to tell a paralyzed woman she was no longer disabled.
They send a copy of any correspondance to your atty on record.
See a dr every so often to keep showing that you have problems. It will help. If the drs keep records then it will be easier to say, yes, i still have problems. Good luck, but do not worry.
