I had a nerve block in my left lower bacj about
ten days ago. I woke up with that part of my back and my left ankle numb after the procedure. When the numbness wore off I now have pain in my left lower back/hip and left ankle and it hurts to walk . The nurse says this can happen sometime and the pain get worse but it will get better .The last several days I have absolutely no energy. Haven't fetl like this in a long time. I have my last infusion of Rituxan tomorrow.

Hi, Bluejeans. I'm sorry for your pain.
Can I ask what you had the nerve block for - I assume intractable pain? I'm glad the nurse said it would get better. I had pain for awhile in my back after an epidural, years ago.
Sending healing thoughts to you ~

Blujeans- I have heard that statement before. It will get better in a few days. I had injection few years ago and it did get better. It hurt for a few days and then it kicked in. I hope your does. Pain can be so tiring.

Hi Bluejeans,
What you're going through could be a reaction to the medication. I like to use Drugs.com:
http://www.drugs.com/sfx/rituxan-side-effects.html
After going the course of this med, you'll probably feel better.
Good luck.
