Hello everyone, I have not been on here for a very long time. I have had Inflammatory Arthritis for about
7 years now. I hope someone will be able to give me some answers.
I had my 3 month Dr. appt in January. I have been having nerve pain and he wanted me to try Gabepentin sp?. I am very drug sensitive and am not sure about taking it. I have been reading about natural supplements. The one that is most widely suggested is Alpha Lapoic Acid, 600 mg a day.
Has anyone tried any natural remedies? I have not been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I have a lot of the symptons but have never presented it to my doctor (Reumatologist). I have looked online for some remedies which seemed good, but wondered if anyone had relief from natural ones.
It is mostly in my knees, above my knees and down my shin area. Some in the tops of my feet. It's more like a burning sensation and a few sharp pains in my left calf. I have tried topical Magnesium Gel, Blue Emu, which is only temporary relief. The worse pain is at night.
The meds I take are - Plaquenil, Vitamin D, B-12, Pro-Biotic, Vitamin C, Calcium, Hydrocodone (as needed), Lorazepam (as needed) the Lorazepam seems to help more at night to relax, Ibuprophen.
Thank you in advance for any comments on this subject.
Have a great day
Annie Rae
