Shot making my bicep muscle act weird.

On Wednesday I had to get a shot for a migraine. The nurse practitioner gave me the shot this time. My neurologist always gives me the shot in my rear but she gave it in my left bicep. For the first day or two it was just sore but now it feels like that muscle is twitching all the time. When I flex that musle it feels like it locks up for a couple seconds and hurts a bit more for a little while.
I'm not sure if this is related to my fibro or something else. I guess if its still the same thing on Monday I can call my neurologist. I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this?

Did she give it in the upper arm near the shoulder?

Some shots have to go through to fat or muscle. If not, then they have a tendency to hurt more or have complications. Also if you tense during some deep shots they do microtears in the muscle causing some problems.

Yes, she did give it in the upper arm near the shoulder. I may have tensed, too. I don't enjoy shots and the phenergren always burns. Should I go to my pcp?

You could call him and ask if you should worry.
I always hurt when I get deep shots.
