Worst flare ever

I'm there with you AV. It's been pouring all night and all day today. They're predicting five days of rain here and I feel it all over. I've already been hit with a whopper of a headache.

When I finish here I'm curling up under my spa wrap and maybe take a little nap.

I have no idea why I'm going through this flare. It has been miserable. I barely get myself moving enough to get meals done, laundry done, and myself somewhat tidy. I keep trying to walk around but my energy is sapped and everywhere hurts. Even my face is having those annoying stinging needles sensation.

I've tried heat, cold, my medications, exercise (if it can be called that), super healthy diet (it's been pretty healthy for a while but occasionally I'd let myself have a slice of cheesecake or something). Nothing is helping. I can't get comfortable anyway. My husband said I look like a toddler cause I keep wondering room to room with my most comfy blanket.

The nice thing is I've trained the kids well enough that they clean up after themselves. The cats, sadly, do not. I clean the litter box daily (3 cats, I usually do it twice a day).

I'm really annoyed with this flare. The weather is finally nice and I had a project to get done. My husband took me out for a bit today to get things for my project but just walking is so miserable. After 15 minutes my husband said he was taking me back home.

I'm so incredibly stiff and I hurt like I've been training for the Olympics. I have been getting up and moving around. I feel like I just need to cuddle with my heating pad and blanket and just camp out on our couch. The cats keep trying to cuddle but even their little feet hurt so much. Last night our smallest cat kept trying to lick my nose and it felt like she was just tearing the skin off.

Anyway, I know, this too shall pass. I am just going to have to be patient and hope it plays itself out soon. My project is a Mother's Day gift and I'd like to have it completed on time.

Hate those moments with a passion! I can always tell I am near a flare because of the way I feel when I try to go to sleep. I remember one night I actually had to go change the sheets at 3 AM, because they were irritating my skin. It's the nights where I ache so badly I can not get to sleep, or get woken up with aches, or have to take a bath or an extra painkiller to try to calm down the pain.

My BF gets irritated, because I can never sit still for long. I have to move every half hour or so, because if I sit still, it hurts so much more.
