I'm much more sore when under stress or pressure. I try to loosen my muscles (when I remember to!) and sometimes my meds help take the edge off, making me more comfortable. I prefer NOT to take meds, though, unless I'm in a bad flare. I'd rather have my heating pad, bed buddy, or a warm bath.
We live in very, very stressful and uncertain times, I think. That's not a very positive thought, I know, but I take comfort personally in knowing God is in charge. I NEVER watch the 'news' on TV, and have even stopped looking at it online, except for a few headlines. It's just too much of a downer, and the stories are just bizarre.
This week was very stressful for me, because of some health issues a family member is undergoing. We did get some good news today, so I'm sighing with relief, yet our finances and other health issues are on my mind.
I try my best to make the world a little better place by my political and religious leanings, and I know there's only so much I can do. I pray a lot and hope for the best, and I work towards what I think is positive. It helps me to "attack" whatever problems I have, as best I can. For example, if I have a problem to deal with, or a stress of some type, I take baby steps towards solving the issue, as quickly as possible. Sometimes easier said than done, but hey--at least it's activity.
Maybe too, with all the wacky weather everywhere, some people find they are in a flare more often. Here the weather is slowly settling, and my body is much happier!
Szul_35: I sometimes get achy legs if I overdo, or if I'm in bed sometimes, especially if rain or snow is on the way.
Hope everyone "loosens up" soon! Maybe we each need to ask ourselves, "what else is going on in my life to make me feel so tense?" If a problem can be even somewhat "dismanteled," it could make a lot of difference.
