Yes, moving hurts, when you first do it. You feel achy, everything hurts, you have no energy, and the last thing you want to do is get up and move around. I get it.
But staying still allows your body to stiffen and the muscles to grow weaker. Moving just a little allows your body to do what it is meant to do, which is be in action, and gives parts a chance to stretch.
So, move. I am not talking marathons here, or crossfit, or anything extreme. Go take a walk around the block. You'll feel better afterwards!
Today, I am working on job resumes, and waiting for the 'storms', here in the mid-atlantic. Lots of sitting and typing. Every hour I change position and get up and move around. Just repotted a plant. Plan to do some light cleaning, this afternoon. Be well!!
