Low magnesium/ anti reflux meds

After reading Sherrine article I wanted to let people now this bit of info. I know many of us take anti reflux meds such as Prilosec, omeprazole and etc. These meds cause low magnesium or another name called hypomagnesmic. This causes many problems in our body when low. My Dr's think my seizure was caused by this. I take anti reflux meds for years and never once did my Dr. share this with me. It was in ER that I found out.

Thanks from me too! Now I know partially why my muscle spasms have increased since starting to take Salpraz! I'll remember to take a little bit extra Mg every day that I have one of the tablets. Actually - I'll write it on the tablet box because otherwise I won't remember.
