I have been in bad flares off and on for past few months. I spend half my time at sea level and the other half approx. about 4000 ft. Does elevation have anything to do with a flare? Its the only thing I can figure out that is different in my life, besides being possible prego. I'm 2 weeks late, giving one more week before I make a doc apt. to be checked. I have pcos and thyroid problems, so I did talk to my doctor and he said a blood test if I don't start by the end of week is the best so he could also check on my thyroid and estrogen (pcos effects hormones) at the same time as pregnancy.

It's possible. Any number of things are possible.

I don't know, Smurf. Maybe. I know I always feel better at sea level, not that I've ever lived there.

Hmm - this is a surprise, your possible pregnancy. Are you excited?

I can understand how fibro can drain one self. I have been going through the same thing. It so hard to fiqure out if it just fibro or a different medical issue.

I know, all the symptoms are so confusing...

I know I feel better when I'm near the ocean. In the olden times, they used to send sick people to live by the sea "in a better climate" to restore their health. Maybe it is a fact that used to be recognised that has now been disregarded as unproven myth?

Yes Debbie, I am excited but I don't want to let my hopes up. So, I decided I was going to cross the bridge when I get there. Still nothing, so it looks like I'm gonna go in for blood test tomarrow, and I am going to pick up a home pregnancy test.. is there a better brand? I have a kid, but he isn't biologically mine. I have never been preg before so I don't know if a brand is better or not...
