Feeling of raw nerve pain

Hi all

Does anyone get a raw nerve pain? This has started through my chest and legs recently...seems to start in chest and travels down leg to my toes

It feels a bit like when you have butterflies in the chest or tummy, but travels down my leg instead - I hate it

Is there anything that can help this or relieve it?

Im currently on 50mg Amitriptyline and many supplements

Wackers,

The raw nerve pain I can relate to is Sciatica....it starts in the back of my butt and travels down to my toes. (But that feels nowhere near as subtle as butterflies, so I'm a little confused.)

I take Gabapentin for this, and Hydrocodone. It's a trade-off, because they definitely make me more groggy and dizzy. But before, the pain was just unbearable.

Speaking of toes - yesterday I was walking across the livingroom to sit down, and caught my little toe on something (I think something under the Lazyboy reached out) and pulled it out to the side, while the rest of my foot kept moving. Man, that hurt!! Now I'm having to walk funny to keep weight off of it and it's a bit purple.

It's always something!

oooo yes - That really hurts...done that a few times

I think i mean, with butterflies its like a sort of itchy type inner pain- i can't explain it - you know when you lose your tummy going over a bridge sort of feeling? A bit like that - but in my chest and leg

Don't think mine is sciatica, perhaps its more restless legs or something like that

Could this be described as nerve pain? its a really strange feeling

Hi Wackers I know the feeling you are describing I get that also. It is very hard to explain the sensation to others, mine is more like an itchy pain deep inside. So far I have not found anything to help but maybe others will have ideas that will help us both.
