First off, HELLO!!! I have missed everyone, and promise I didn't fall off the face of the earth just yet...just dealing with life..
BUT, wanted to let newbies know the importance of listening to your body. You other old-timers will understand this...and I fully expect you to laugh at my expense.
I got to a point where I felt pretty decent, and doubted I had any problems...so like an IDIOT I went to my husbands family reunion, where I made a HUGE comedy of errors..
~1~ We camped in a TENT for 4 days..sleeping on the ground..
~2~ I was assistant kitchen organizer where we cooked 3 meals EVERYDAY for about
60-100 people, on 2 grills, with NO running water..
~3~ In between 12 hours of cooking everyday, I was in charge of kids crafts and games...for 15-20 kids..
needless to say, I could NOT get off my couch for a solid week when we got home..
pretty stupid, I know, and I learned a lot after that..I think my "cape" is permenantly retired..especially since I have been helping watch the grandbabies, and a short month ago I got a bad dog bite and am STILL recovering from that little gem!( sorry, no one can EVER convince me pitbulls are good dogs..and I have 9 puncture wounds, 5 staples and a chunk of calf missing that begs to differ)
So, long story short..listen to your body and give in when it tells you too!!!
have a good night, promise to come back soon..
