I learned many years ago that my reaction to flu shots was from an allergy. Since figuring out that I am sensitive to sulfites, now I know what that allergy was. It's not the vaccine, it's the preservatives!
I was forced to take a pneumonia vaccine a few years ago and reacted again, so I have refused to take vaccines - until the Covid vaccines came out. I don't react to them! No preservatives!
If you get a reaction to a vaccine you can try an antihistamine. I got some relief from Benadryl for the pneumonia vaccine.
But the best thing is to demand a preservative-free vaccine. Yes, there are preservative-free vaccines. They come in individual vials, not the big multi-dose ones. Vaccines don't need preservatives unless someone sticks a contaminated needle into the vial.
