Acupuncture was agony today

I am having a flare at the moment so feeling rather tender and more lethargic then normal. I had my regular massage and acupuncture treatment today (been having every 2 weeks) and she put one in my leg just below my knee and my whole leg felt dead...The whole day I have had trouble walking...I used to get really achy legs here before fibro, when I was on my period.
Is there a tender point below the knee, on the outer part of the leg?

The positive part of the day is she gave me a wheatbag to try and im loving it!

Sure could be. Accupuncture is very mysterious to me. I did it for about 6 months, then gave it up because the good feeling never lasted for more than a day, and it was expensive.

I remember one time, the doctor put a needle in my foot, and suddenly I had a very strong bitter taste in my mouth. That really impressed me!

A year ago I did acu for shoulder and triceps pain.

I think it was helpful, the pain went away after 10 treatments, in addition to massage and taking it easy.

But the process wasn't enjoyable, holding my arms on my chest for 20 minutes caused shaking that I identify with Fibro symptoms during another cycle of battle...
