Anyone here experience eye pain with fibromyalgia

yes yes yes...I get eye pain pretty much in phases, so it will be with me for a few months at a time and then go away for a few months, its very odd. I haven't mentioned it to the doc yet, but am going to on my next visit...I also get weird vision things happening, so if you concentrate on an object it looks a bit like wavy lines, like heat vapours...its not horrendous, and only happens if i really focus.
An optician has checked my eyesight (as i do wear glasses) and they couldnt find anything other than a few eye floaters...Not sure if I have helped, just wanted to share

Yes... when all my FM-like symptoms began, my eye pain was at its worst. I've had all of these come and go over the last few years:

-Blurring in and out
-eye pain with any eye movement
-eye strain
-pain in muscles surrounding eyes and nose
-new floaters
-sudden decrease in night vision
-sandy feeling in eyes
-"tails" on the end of lights
-slight double vision at certain angles
-delay in "refresh" (for instance, seeing images linger longer than normal when I close my eyes)
-trouble with perspective


At first, before I had my FM/CFS diagnosis, I thought I had M.S. because of the sudden onset of so many eye issues in my mid 20's.

Luckily thus far, it hasn't seemed to have degenerated much at all and leveled out.

I should mention also, that pressure around my eye increases sometimes after eating. Still trying to figure out why this is the case.
