I am finally going to do a sleep study tomorrow. I have put this off for years. My husband had to move out of the room because of my snoring. I am waking myself up too. So my Dr. thinks I have sleep apnea. I decided this year to solve some medical issues I have been putting off. My teeth are next. I am excited because the mercy dental is coming to anchorage. Free dental care in April. Hope I can sleep in the sleep study.

Good for you. I hope everything goes well and you get the help you need. I'm doing the same thing this year - getting some stuff done that I don't wanna but I know I need to. I'm hoping to get most of my junk done before summer so I can quit worrying about it. rolleyes

I was amazed I was able to sleep with all of the wires they glued on me, but I did good enough for them to get results.
Hint: to get the glue off your hair get a large bottle of seabreeze or witch hazel to wash your head with. They used glue to attach the wires.

The nasal tube pestered me the most. It doesn't go in your nose but it tickles.

Well I finished my sleep study. I didn't realize you had so many facial and nose wires to sleep with. The tech. Lady said I did have sleep apnea and I snored so loud she turned it down. So now I have to wait to see the sleep Dr. And probably come back to sleep with a mask. I was surprised I was able to sleep. The only thing I didn't like is that they don't let you fall asleep with electronics. I think they should let you do what you do at home. I am so used to falling asleep with the TV. I am just hoping this will help with my energy. I tend to fall asleep easily.

I wear what they call full face but it covers my mouth and nose like a oxygen mask you see in tv shows.

The second test is a little frustrating because you're wired up again and get a mask. They play around with the pressure until they find the right one for you. I had the best dreams after they got it set right. :-)
