Hi my friends, on a sad note, my dear MIL passed. She was 88 and had Alzheimers. We will be flying to Wisconsin for her funeral...It is been hard to help with the details being so far away. Hubby and I worked on her obituary.

Yesterday I was at the oncology clinic. My case was being reviewed. I had another CT scan yesterday. Until I have surgery a DX cannot be made. They are trying to determine the right type of surgery for me. Hoping they can choose the least invasive one and still get answers. I do have some sort of infiltrations on my right lung. My fatigue level is sky high and I'm not dealing well with the pain either. Just anxious to get this all over with and find out...what is going on. I wish I were more patient.

Surgery will be some time in early March...I will keep you posted.

Geesh Robin, it most certainly does pour sometimes. Sorry to hear about your MIL. That has to be super stressful for you and your husband. It's so terrible losing family members. I do hope everything turns out to be good for you health wise. My prayer is that it's nothing to serious and can be resolved quickly for you.

You do amaze me. You are an inspiration to many of us here and we want to see some good come your way. Remember smell the roses blow out the candles and try to fill yourself with positive self talk. Will be thinking of and praying for you over the weeks ahead. Take care.

Thoughts for you. It's always hard when a family member dies. Even an In-Law! You have known her a long time.

  Boy, is that ever true: When it rains, it pours.  Sending my sympathy on the passing of your dear M-I-L.

I'm hoping the 'bumps' you have hit recently all smooth out, and the rest of this year looks great.

Praying for you. And, as Michael and others have said (and it's so true) you are an inspiration to all of us. Your positive spirit is awesome. It really is. yeah   yeah   yeah

That stinks! So sorry that you lost your MIL. I know your husband must be grieving something terrible.
I will be sending my healing thoughts your way and put in a good word with the man upstairs on your behalf.

I am sorry about your ML. I cant imagine how hard it must be to stay encourage in all this, but you do. We all can learn from you for sure. May God give the surgeon wisdom and direction in your case.

Robin, I'm so sorry to hear about your MIL. It's so hard when we lose our loved ones. Just know that she is now happy and is totally healthy. This thought helps me when I lose loved ones. Tell your hubby that I'm so sorry about his Mom.

I'll be praying that your surgery will be less invasive, too. I'm sure your stress levels are through the ceiling and that has to be affecting your pain. But you don't have long to wait to finally get the answers you have been seeking. I'm praying for a report that will put a smile on your face!

Joy, my Mom used to always say "fiddlesticks" too. You brought a smile to my face this morning.

Thank Your for your condolences. My MIL is now reunited with my FIL and I have visions of them dancing in Heaven. They were high school sweethearts who married right after high school. FIL then went to serve in World War II and earned his college degree after. Both were exceptional people, loving, giving and kind. I was blessed to have them in my life. I'm sure glad they produced my hubby!!!!

I'm doing only what I can and resting when I should. My body is not allowing me to do much...very, short of breath when I exert myself. Only can walk short distances now. Hoping my breathing issues can be resolved. I've been praying for a good outcome. I thank you all for your prayers and well wishes. Know that I keep you all in my prayers!

Is there any chance you can at least up your pain meds (and maybe even anti anxiety meds during all of this stress)?

Oh, Robin...you sure are having a time of it. I am so sorry about you losing your mother-in-law, on top of everything else. I think I'd just have to go into cocoon mode to get through it...and let other people do what has to be done. Surely people will understand...

Hopefully, this is going to be all that's heaped on your plate for awhile, and when you get home and have the surgery, you'll start feeling better. This is what I'm praying for, dear friend :)
