ak angel: I don't have MS (though I haven't been tested for it for several years now), but I can somewhat relate to what you're saying.
When I was tested, the neurologist was quite sure I had it. At that time, I had more difficulty walking, many leg/foot spasms and major muscle cramping. And it had all developed quickly--just sort of 'out of the blue.' I had (have) no major vision problems, but do have poor eyesight in general and have worn glasses since I was about ten.
The neurologist later said he definitely thinks something else is going on besides the fibro. His best educated 'guess' is mild cerebral palsy. He thinks I may have always had it(!) That explains a lot. I've always known my muscles don't work correctly, and I'm incredibly uncoordinated.
Interesting too, that my brain MRI did show some small patches which were questionable. But evidently, not to the point where it pointed to MS.
Lately, I'm dealing with some very mild shaking in my hands. I don't know if it's related to my meds or not.
There sure seem to be similarities between fibro and MS. I would guess you are seeing a neurologist?
