Have any of you been told that your Fibro originated from Lyme?

Have any of you been told that your Fibro is from Lyme disease? I ache all over today. My Rhuematologist would say this is Fibro symptoms, and that many people with Fibro react to the weather. My Chiropractor would tell me that my Lyme disease is active due to the weather change. First I ache in my knees, then it goes away, then its my elbows, then the pain stops for 30minutes, then it hurts in my knees, hips, elbows, mid-back. Does anyone else get pain that moves from one place to another in one day? And has any of you have this all originate with Lyme?

I'm a firm believer that once you get Lyme...it never goes away. I really feel it is another yucky thing that will go dormant then sometimes stay hidden, but other times pop back up. When I was dx'd with Lyme some 5 years ago, I had already been dx's with Fibro, but...I never found a tick, no big bull's eye...and have no idea how long it caused all sorts of havic to my system. I went on 2 sets of IV antiobiotics, had a blood clot, got the pic line taken out and would never go back to the doctor (long story) and now I am wondering and have made an appointment with another LLM doc to see if Bartonella is causing all the problems that I have. I don't know if it came from it or what but I think there are tons of research that say its a good change. Sorry not much of an answer but I'm left with dealing with fentenyl patches and bt pain meds....

Daddysreds, Lyme disease should have been ruled out before a diagnosis of fibro was given. Also, some people do have Lyme and fibro. The symptoms are similar.

Jackblack gave you some info and you can get a lot more in the Lyme forum. I usually don't allow posts about Lyme here because a while back it was starting to become a Lyme forum with all the Lyme people coming here and our members were getting upset about it. But, since you asked the question I'm allowing Jackblack's post.

Remember....not all illnesses are caused by Lyme disease. Fibromyalgia is a separate illness and we do have good doctors. I've had fibro....not Lyme...for 27 years. It isn't a progressive illness either. Lyme, I believe, is.
