Reconnective Healing Eric Pearl

Has anyone heard about this Reconnective Healing? My cousin, who attended Eric Pearl's workshop, is just SURE that it works and he wants to try it on me. I am of a skeptical nature and just can't buy in to this whole concept.

My cousin says he has seen people healed and some of them have been healed by distance healing. Even someone with fibromyalgia who was very debilitated is now just fine. My cousin says he himself has had good results in healing people.

According to reviews I read of Eric Pearl's book on Amazon, there were many reviews that debunked him and the whole idea of Reconnective Healing.

I figure if it is so good and has healed so many people, why have we not heard more about these people? So, if you know anything about this or of anyone who has tried this, step right up and let us know about it.

Does your cousin want to do it for free, or to charge you? If free, then you have nothing to loose. And since you're skeptical then you'd be a good "control" for his treatment. I think a lot of this stuff is placebo effect from people who want to be healed so badly that their own minds help them. But then...as I've often said to my husband "So what if it is the placebo effect? If I feel better, that is all that matters."

Thanks Joy and Lym2014 for your response. As for what Reconnective Healing is--that is a good question.

Supposedly, the healer does not touch you but hovers his hands over you until he feels a "vibration" change as he moves his hands. He then stays in that spot and "healing light", or "energy" comes from this spot and heals your body. The person receiving the healing has involuntary fluttering of the eyelids and/or hands and sometimes will see colors, hear sounds, or smell odors during the session. The healer can also do "distance healing"

Personally, I am somewhat fearful of allowing MY
body to be "healed" by this unknown energy source. I agree that much of the healing may be placebo effect.

The other part of this is the amount of money that Eric Pearl makes as he travels the country teaching others how to become reconnective healers. People pay mucho money to attend and the workshop attendance is about 500 people at a time! People should be paid for their work but this still makes me leery. My cousin would do the healing for me for free.

I was hoping that someone would have known a person who had tried this and could give us an opinion.

Hi everyone, I was doing some research myself re "Eric pearl" to find out if he is the real deal or just another scam.
I heard about Eric and his Reconnective Healing a couple of weeks ago, and found out that we will be in Lisbon in September.

Since then I have been searching all around the web for proof. so far all information that I have found is very basic, and the "studies" that they mention are very vague. I haven't been able to READ A SINGLE FULL STUDY FROM AN INDEPENDENT PARTY.

I also haven't read any info from the participants stating that it is real or not. (apart from the "testimonials" in their main website).
Also when I search in forums just like in here, I have never seen any accurate answer. Positive or Negative!

So that is very strange. we can find info about everything on the net, but in this particular case, which could be seen as a revolutionary method to cure people, everything is so vague that leads me to think that this is all a scam.

What is Eric doing with all the money he gets from the seminars by the way? for what I read, he charges around €1120 per person, and his seminars tend to have at least 500 participants. That is €560.000 for a single week!! so could it be that he's spending an huge sum to clear all the negative comments around the web? (This is just a suggestion!);

Anyway, I am looking forward to hear your own comments. and if you do know anyone that had any contact with the Reconnective Healing please let me know.

Is this the same thing as Reiki? Has anyone tried that?
