I had surgery yesterday with a good report. The large mass was a large fibro tumor. No cancer! It was a rough day yesterday, but I can survive the pain knowing its not cancer. I am home already. It amazes me how you recover very quick from these robotic surgeries. I still have to be real careful for 6 weeks. Go home the next day is crazy from the old days when I was doing nursing.

Now I hope I can get on with life once again. I had so many valleys for awhile I am ready to be on top of the moutain. Now I just have to remember to rest and ask for help.

Now just rest and heal up. Don't overdo the next six weeks. Nothing heavier than a gallon of milk.

Yes, now you can relax and your worries are behind.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend and do something fun, just for you.

Great news ak!!!! Woot woot!! Take it easy and yes ask for help. Give yourself plenty of time to heal. If you read get lost in a good book. Have a relaxing weekend.

What wonderful news! Now you can finally relax. Yes, get a good book and enjoy your summer weather. I'm sure the flowers will be more colorful, the sky bluer, the clouds whiter, and the sun brighter. Enjoy it!

Oh, ak angel, I'm so happy for you. I went through a very similar incident earlier this year, and my masses turned out benign, too. The relief must be immense for you.

And yes, rest, rest, rest. Amazon Prime movies were my best friend during my recovery period. And the doctors mean what they say when they say to be careful for 6 weeks. I did too much too soon and had a bit of a set back, but I have recovered nicely since. Lots of fatigue, but that is to be expected.

Pamper yourself, and allow yourself to just relax and recover. I hope you have a wonderful rest of the summer. :-)

I'm SO glad to hear this, Angel!  Now you can rest (do remember to!) and recuperate from your surgery.  I didn't do that enough after mine, and I have a feeling I'm not doing as well as I could have been....

All that stuff you think has to be done....leave it to someone else to do!

Anyway - doing a happy dance for you!  yeah turn yeah turn yeah

So very glad that it want cancer and know that it is a big relief for you. Take it easy and be good to yourself for the next six weeks or as long as it takes. Hope you have a quick recovery and you don't feel too much pain.

 What wonderful news!! Very happy to hear that there is no cancer.


 I had the same situation 11 yrs. ago. And the same final result as you.


 It was my most difficult surgery recovery. I was used to moving around like 'the old me' by about 2 wks post surgery. Not after the hysterectomy. :( I had no recourse, but to let my family take care of me. Boy, did that drive me crazy ;).


 After a previous surgery, I was out 2 wks later digging up my driveway. It seemed like a good idea at the time. lol


 Use this time to heal, let your family take care of you. You always take such good care of your family, let them return the kindness. Take the time to reflect on the positives in your life and the beauty around you. Read, watch movies, listen to music, and pray! All things to bring peace into your life as you recover.

Angel,
So very happy to hear everything is positive and most of all your health, thoughts & feelings!!!
It's very hard to not want to run the vac or do the dishes but, SAY NO to all the housework, cleaning, laundry, etc., etc., etc. and let the family take care of you. There are times in our lives where we need to relax & do nothing and this is that time for you! Your body will Thank You when all the healing is done!
