I really like this, Michael!

One that helps me (when I remember it) is, "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about." - there seems to be some confusion over the author - maybe Plato

That is excellent, Michael. I needed that today. My mantra is simple: "Do the next right thing." Often that means doing what I don't FEEL like doing, but it is what is the BEST thing to do. By looking at life that way, it is viewed in small pieces that add up to many right choices.

These are all really good, I find it motivating that even though we are bonded together as a group by such a terrible condition that impacts every aspect of our lives, that we are still able to remain positive and hold onto hope. Hope and each other is a powerful combination. Thank you fibro family.

It's easy to feel like the illness is targeting you, and then giving up on the world. It's much more beneficial to accommodate the change in health, and make the plans necessary to move on with your beautiful life, regardless.

My mantra is "Let it go". Too often I've found myself holding onto negative thoughts and letting them take over my day. I'm trying to learn that when those thoughts pop in I just need to "let it go". I even have it on a mantra bracelet to remind myself.
