I am finding that for my daughter moving around does not help her. It seems to make her worse. And she hurts so much that she can do little but lay down. I try to move her around, take her on little walks, but she just can't do it very well or for long. I know for me, when I am having a bad flare up, movement makes me worse as well. If I am having a not too bad or medium day, moving is good. But when I get really bad, it makes it worse. I also have lupus, so it's a combo of the two. My daughter does have discoid lupus, but so far nothing other than a positive ANA is showing up in her blood work, so SLE has not been diagnosed. Only about 10% with discoid developed SLE. But I am not sure that fibro is the only problem here. Her pain level is so very high. The past week it has been a 7-9 on the pain scale. And we just can't get her to school. She loves school! But she just can't do it.
As far as the special diet, I meant that I know there are anti inflamatory diets out there, and I didn't know if anyone had a specific one that had been successful for them. Instead of just a few things here or there that I am finding to be a bit overwhelming to put together. This has been so overwhelming and I just wanted a little advice.
Thanks for the help everyone, I really appreciate it. Every little bit helps.
