I very much have nerve problems. When it all started I would be in bed and feeling many things going on inside me. Little twitches. Yes, I noticed that the wind was causing problems for me. My hands would go numb when I slept. This is caused by Carpal Tunnel for me. Wrist braces have helped. I was also getting tingling in my hands and still do. The tingling often comes while sitting but it has happened in other situations. I had some treatment done by my Physiotherapists recently. After I had to walk to an adjacent building to wait for my Transit. By the time I got there my left hand was numb and my right hand was tingling. This is not painful but it is not normal.
I do believe I hit nerves twice. This happened several years ago. It caused so much pain into my head. One time it happened when I was driving home and had to look left at traffic. The next time it happened was in a very old bus, apparently with no shocks. The bus just rattled my whole body. My nerves were again in bad shape when I got home. Needed mostly ice. It took a long time to feel slightly better.
I had severe pain in my arm while sleeping. The pain came from inside to outside.
I had some times that I would be holding a cup and my arm would just fall down.
I have had two EMGs. Nothing really recent. I had full analysis of my nerves when my problems began.
Had nerve spasms in my back and behind when trying to sleep, when I came off Lyrica. Also had restless legs. Lyrica might have been masking them. They have stopped now with Nortriptyline.
For me it is possible that the medication used to destroy C. Diff. might have contributed to my damaged nerves. Medications do many weird things to me. I could feel the two meds, Metronidazole and Cipro travelling through my body. It was scary. Topamax was supposed to stop my head pain, it made me worse. On extreme windy days I could feel Lyrica making my nerves buzz. I always point out that medications are individual.
For me, pain is being presented severely in my neck and head. I still get much relief when I go to bed at night. You can't sleep 24 hours a day, you have to get up and move.
For me, yes, I have nerve damage. I get pain signals in a lot of places, luckily not all at once. The headaches are constant. Some of my pain signals occur where I had an injury many years ago. I should have been long mended by now. Osteoarthritis is contributing to pain also.
What do I do - keep walking and moving, with pain.
