How many of you have tablets and watch movies in bed? I just love relaxing at night and watch great amazon or netflex movies right under my nose. I love how you can watch new movies that just get released from the theaters in bed. The documentaries are so wonderful. I love learning new things. My only problem is that sometimes I will fall asleep on them. The bad thing is that I use costly GB time which my husband not too happy about. Lol

I think having tablets are great for disabled people. Many times I don't feel like going out to the movies. So now I feel like I can keep up with the world. If I miss the national news I can just watch it on my tablet. I even take it to the kitchen to watch a video on a recipe while cooking the item.

I was just curious about this subject. Lol

I have a DVR and record movies I want to see. If I get tired, I can stop the movie and go to bed and watch the rest of it the next day.

I do go to bed with the TV on..tuned usually to the History Channel. I usually fall asleep quickly and, when I wake up in the middle of the night, I turn the TV off and fall right back to sleep.

I do have an iPad that I can use for games, the latest news, researching things and posting here. I'm on my iPad now.

I can't watch videos because I need closed-captioning since I'm considered legally deaf.

So, I use a variety of things to make my life easier. We all can use things like this.

Isn't it fun to watch movies on the privacy of your very own belly! I love my tablet, and I notice so much more detail that way!

But I go to sleep most nights with my earphones in, listening to music. That works best for me. Soothing New Age and Classical stuff makes all the difference....

I have two tablets but they are wifi only, so I don't have to worry about burning through costly mobile data. I have a 7" that I use in bed as a reader and also occasionally to watch movies when I can't sleep and don't want to go to the living room. The larger one (10") I mainly use for school stuff, but I also keep it at my tv chair and use it for games while I'm watching tv or whatever if I don't want to deal with my laptop.

I have a Nook that's wi-fi and I use it all the time.
My laptop died two months ago and I've started using my nook as a subsitute.
I do have one complaint though, after awhile my hands and finger hurt from holding it too much. The RA in my hands start to grumble loudly and I have to lay it down for awhile. I do like that it's very easy to carry around the house.

I had to learn to becareful with the HD movies. They can burn up more GB which use more then cost me more. It really doesn't matter to me about HD movies.

I won't even tell you what I was picturing when I read, "Electronic tablets"!  turn   shakehead Not what this thread's about, that's for sure.  Even if I HAD a tablet, my brain would have probably done the same thing. 

Ah, me.  No wonder I'm years behind in - well, in everything.

We have a tablet plus an IPhone. I don't alway watch stuff in bed though. Sometimes i just love playing music and resting. I do however love to take the tablet with me when i take a bath. I love getting on my other message boards and facebook while i soke in a hot bath. i take about four or five hot baths a day cause it seems to be the only way that i feel better sometimes
