So is it just me ?
I get pain in the back of my head or the crown.....like I've been in some serious crazy Cat fight from hell !!!!
shocked m'y ears hurt so badly I cant lay down, anyone have this? Its like thé pressure, juSt to much.

I've been having pain similar to what you are describing - headache focused around the back and crown of my head, and earaches for the last 5 weeks or so. But it's not been a typical Fibro symptom for me.

In my case those are secondary symptoms to a case of vertigo. The ENT specialist thinks its an inflamation in my inner ear left over from the flu I had over the holidays. If that's true, she said it would clear up on its own in the next couple weeks.

Substance P was a 'big deal' a few years ago but doctors (other than rheumies) still aren't really aware of it's place in Fibro/cfs. Have you checked out the Cort Johnson blog yet? Amazing info written about research but laid in lay person speak.

Welcome Raveona.

I have daily headaches. My headaches start at the base of my skull and move up the back of my head. I have a lot of pain on the top back part of my head, both sides. Sometimes it moves into my forehead. Sometimes I have pain around the hairline. I don't have earaches but I am hard of hearing. I have tinnitus. I always have some kind of noise in my head. I do have jaw pain. I also have sinus issues.

My headaches are more of a cervicogenic headache. I see a Headache and Pain Relief Doctor who does nerve blocks. It is not a cure.

Some of my pain is due to Osteoarthritis in my neck. Also have mild OA in other joints. I am not sure what percentage of my pain is related to arthritis or Fibromyalgia. I have known for a long time that my nervous system was terribly sensitive.

I am in Canada and really hating our very cold winter. I have a sprained ankle and cannot get into my winter boots. Not very good.

I had a headache recently that I had never had before in the temporal area. I looked it up and they say stress or some other stuff that didnt sound likely. The odd thing was this went away when I started doing nasal saline rinses. I had horribly dry sinuses and one side is impacted a bit. Its getting better now, but the weird thing is that the pain didnt match the problem. I have chronic sinusitis and this was different. Just a thought - i get ear pressure like that when I have a doozy sinus and ear ache combo. Tinnitus from it too.

I have random earaches but never associated it with fibro. I think it's the ONE thing I havent. I'll have to ask my dr about it.

I get headaches in my right temple almost daily. My ears ring loudly during these headaches. I think it's a type of migraine.
