I think the melt sounds awesome.. Because i could not take the firm rollers...ouch so my husband bought me different firmnesses of pool noodles , so i basically am using melt.
Grammy, that book got to me too...its mpre professional friendly ..
But over time i would study it in small sections ..and devise ways to really get help from it!
My hip fascia , kept locking..which was so painful and restrictive. So i use what the book says, but the tennis ball was too hard so i use a rubber ball, and it still releases the fascia but does not hurt me..
I will get this melt program at some point. But for now my pool noodle and rubber ball are enough..with what i learned for the book..there is a therapy called strain and counter strain where a therapist releases the fascia..that was awesome , but take more time than being able to do it yourself..because if i am in pain..its hard to wait three weeks for an appointment to get help.so it was a real blessing to learn to do those releases myself.
