Does anyone ever have low grade inflammation and or feel kind of inflamed when having a flare up?

Sometimes when I'm flaring up besides my nerve pain I it also feels like I feel inflammed I do not have RA or lupus just wondering...

My hands are kind of always swollen it seems like.

There is research being done on this now...although in normal bloodwork, our inflammation factors test low..

They are researching whether there is a more latant inflammation at the nerve level..

I have to use an anti-inflammatory , have tried to get off of it, but cannot...i was able to not take a higher dose by using tumeric which is a spice supplement.

I have inflammation, but I have RA and Lupus.

Does your hands look swollen, hot, or make faint popping noises when you move them?
if they do get them checked out asap.

I do take 500 mg of turmeric I like it a lot I feel like it helps with the flare up... Hi joy. No I do not have those symptoms with my hands

I don't yet know whether or not I have Lupus. My primary thinks so, and I'm seeing a new Rheumy late April to look into it further. I do get inflammation every single day. Around 2:30 or 3:00 every day I start running a low grade fever, and get very achy. This happens to me even on days I don't work, so I guess it's just part of my body's response to everything going on with my body. I have chronic, severe allergies along with OA in addition to fibro. While OA isn't supposed to cause much inflammation, the chronic allergies do cause a lot of inflammation. I have edema as well.
