Not sure if I really have fibromyalgia

My name is Andy and I am hoping someone can help me. I have been searching for four years for a reason for my pain, I started with pain in my groin that got so bad I could barely walk then I started getting a sharp pain by my shoulder blade. I was told my pelvis was tilted up and forward and I went to a chiro for a year with little relief than I got sent to pain management for a diagnosis and was told I had pelvic misalignment and loose ligaments near my shoulder. I have had some results with my leg pain with a year of physical therapy but my back pain has gotten worse I have bones that move out of place and family members can push on them and put them back in place. I have pain in both shoulders and midback it hurts just to sit with my back against something, pain in knees,feet and hips.I have been diagnosed by a rheumatologist she thinks I have osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia.
I have most of the symptoms except the exhaustion I can"t stay asleep because the pain wakes me up but I take sleep meds a lot so maybe that's why I am not tired. Just typing on the computer or holding a book is enough to make me hurt worse for days. Is anyone else like me?

Fibro pain can be so different from person to person.

Hopefully your rheumy is treating you for pain?

We can have pain in any soft tissue, ligaments, tendons,,muscles, fascia...there are times its like a perfect storm : (

Fibro 101 is at the top of this forum, there s lots of info there on this disease.

Have you been checked for Ehlers-Danlos syndrome?

Thank you both for your replies. I have been tested for RA.lupus.muscle disorders and thyroid. I have not been tested for ehlers danlos but I do know about it and don't think I have it. I only have ribs.pelvis and shoulder subluxations no complete dislocation and no hypermobility of any body part. I have constant pain that goes in spells of being bearable to unbearable.Pain is in both arms.shoulders.neck.back.hips and legs. I just started gabapentin and will be trying aquatic therapy.

Hi Andy just wondering if you had any imflammation show up on any of your tests?

Hi Jasflower, No inflammation in the test.no swelling in the joints.I have two bulged discs and bursitis in the right shoulder and nerve compression.I get pins and needles in my legs and hands.
