Cymbalta and nausea

Hey all - new here - diagnosed with fibro 4 months ago.
Doctor just switched me to cymbalta 30mg from Amitriptyline, and after a week I've begun to experience the nausea everyone warns about.
So far it's been two horrible days, the stomach cramps are stopping me from sleeping.
Anyone have any suggestions for good otc (or even prescription) anti-nausea pills?
I tried pepto-bismal but it's done nothing, and I want to give the cymbalta some time to work before I decide to call it quits, but the stomach pain is really unbearable.

How about calling your doctor and telling him what you're going thru and see if he can prescribe you something for the nausea. I took cymbalta for about 4 or 5 years and never had a issue with it, so I really am not much help, lol. Sorry you are feeling crumy but good for you for wanting to give it a chance. Hope you find something that helps your tummy.

Sadly, I have been trying for 3 days to reach my doctor, to no avail. Seems like she's on vacation.

Well that sucks, is there any other doctors at the place you go, normally when a dr goes on vacation they have a back up doctor to help their patients when they are gone. Hopefully you can get ahold of someone soon. Nausea sucks to have.
