Joint pain

Might be osteo arthritis...

I hope you feel better soon. Often the fibromyalgia will make it feel like the joint when it is muscle or tendon.

Hi. Yes I've had x Rays and they are all normal ...

I have pretty bad joint pain, which as far as I know is from the fibro. I've had terrible hip pain for years, but the other joint pain was occasional and sporadic. But the last few months it's terrible and quite consistent. My knees, ankles, wrists and shoulders hurt the majority of the time, lately quite severe at times. Where if I didn't know I had Fibro I'd be sure I have arthritis. Still, going to a new Rheumy soon, going to make sure he rules out anything else. These new, random Fibro symptoms never cease to amaze me! You never know what wonderful thing awaits you next, lol!

I have Osteoarthritis in many places. X-rays continue to show the OA as mild. It is apparently based on the amount of space left. The final stage is bone on bone. I have pain in many places. Some pain is from the Osteoarthritis, some from Fibromyalgia and some from Neuralgia.

I get severe pain in my head. Sometimes I feel like my head is going to crack. I can still walk but I walk with pain. I do know when I can't push myself anymore. I have wrist pain from carpal tunnel and now it is showing that there is Osteoarthritis in my wrists too.

The arthritis can be seen in x-rays but by the time it is diagnosed by x-ray it is usually advanced. MRIs can see more than a normal x-ray.

I am on medication but not pain medication, take Doctor recommended supplements, keep moving, I go to a pool program in a heated pool once a week. I use ice, heat and pain creams.
