I noticed in one of the posts someone mentioned her purse dropping off her shoulder when she was shopping.
I stopped using a purse when I go shopping years ago. I use a fanny/waist pack instead. It's large enough for my wallet, check book, phone, glasses and tissues. My shoulders and neck would hurt so bad after a shopping trip from the straps and weight of the purse. Now I don't have that problem anymore.
Just thought I would pass this on.
Have a great weekend!

I wear a very light weight long strap purse. I place it over my head and across my body. It seems to help me, but today the strap was hurting my neck.
I may have to go back to my fanny pack even though I'm a plus size. It makes me look fatter.

Mine, too.
I just bought a Messenger bag style purse. I'm hoping it will be more comfortable. We'll see.

For me, the fanny packs can be uncomfortable because they arent cross supported.. I have crushed vertebrae right near where they hang.
The cross over purse works better for me. I am okay with small backpacks that distribute wieght too. For my laptop I invested in a shoulder pad specifically designed with padding to help with this. I am tempted to use with a purse as well ;). I have also been trying to find ways to carry smaller amounts of things. It just is work sometimes, lol.

I use a small crossover bag as well. It is freeing to carry less things!

I use a crossover bag. I keep one of those small bottles of water in it because I tend to get dehydrated when I'm out and about
and run out of energy.

I use a purse when shopping, yes, it is heavy but carries all of the goodies. Other things, I use a fanny pack for. Very convenient. I also have a small Lotus Crossbody Bag that I carry if I want to go visiting and don't want the purse or fanny pack.
Good topic...
Hugs, Karen...
