Hi Everyone,
I also had an appointment with my orthopedic doctor recently and he mentioned that some doctors are thinking fibromyalgia and myofascial pain syndrome are related. He said my overall pain could be from the many small nerves being irritated in my fascia.
Our fascia covers everything from our bones to our organs. It's been described to me like this:
It's like the fat on a chicken breast between the meat and the skin. Strange but true.

I have had myofascial therapy in the past and it was helpful, but it was only short term.
